Back in 2020, when the world had shut down, I was just a mum in my kitchen experimenting and trying to keep that creative spark alive. That’s when I discovered Japanese crystal candy. What immediately caught my attention was how beautiful it looked — these little sparkling pieces that almost looked like edible jewels. I just had to try making them for myself.

What started as a simple kitchen experiment slowly grew into something much bigger. Over time, more and more people discovered Bak’d and fell in love with crystal candy just like we had.
