Our NQR Crystal Candy Packs are filled with perfectly delicious crystal candy that just didn't quite make the cut.

These packs may contain pieces that are cracked, broken, chipped, or smaller than our standard crystals, but they still have the same signature crunchy shell and jelly centre you know and love.

This drop is made up mostly of crystal pieces in a variety of random flavours, with approximately 10–15 pieces included in each pack.

Every pack is different, making it a fun surprise each time.

Shipping & Returns

We currently ship to Australia and New Zealand using Australia Post.

Tracking information is sent via email as soon as your order is packed and ready to be shipped.

Processing Time

Being a small team, it can take us 3-5 business days to have your order packed and shipped. As soon as we ship your order, you will receive an email with tracking info. We ship all parcels using Australia Post. For any queries on the status of your order, please reach out via the shop chat or email sarah@bakd.com.au.

Allergen Information

Our crystal candy is made using Agar Agar powder which is a gelatinous substance derived from red seaweed. This makes our delicious crystals vegan given that the agar agar contains no animal products.

Our crystals also contain granulated sugar as well as various colours and flavourings.

While the crystals are gluten free, we are not a GF registered kitchen. However, as we only prepare crystal candy in our warehouse, we are confident that there is no cross-contamination.

Some of our crystals may have sharp edges, so please proceed with caution if sharing with young children.

Founder's Note - From Sarah

I never planned to start a candy brand.. it kind of just happened.

Back in 2020, when the world had shut down, I was just a mum in my kitchen experimenting and trying to keep that creative spark alive. That’s when I discovered Japanese crystal candy. What immediately caught my attention was how beautiful it looked — these little sparkling pieces that almost looked like edible jewels. I just had to try making them for myself.

What started as a simple kitchen experiment slowly grew into something much bigger. Over time, more and more people discovered Bak’d and fell in love with crystal candy just like we had. Somewhere along the way, it stopped being just about candy and started becoming a community of people who share in the joy, the colour and the sparkle.

If you choose to purchase from Bak’d, please know that we are forever grateful. Never in my wildest dreams did I think a tiny kitchen project would grow into Australia’s biggest crystal candy brand — or more importantly, a beautiful community of people who have supported us from day one.

    So much to choose from!

    My second order happened to be a NQR box. It was a great sampler of the different styles of crystal candy which I loved. It helped be recognise the styles I liked and others that turned out to not be for me (clusters - too crunchy).

    NQR packs are exactly that - not quite right

    I'd been waiting to try these treats for ages and when I saw you could get the NQR packs for a more reasonable price I ordered one. I can't fault any part of the product except the taste, which was like soap and incense/perfume mixed together, not my vibe at all. I didn't like any of the flavours - they all seemed to taste the same and I'm not picky. I'm hoping that the normal packs are better but not sure I'll ever try them again sadly.
