Mystery Crystal Candy Box ✨

Feeling adventurous? Our Mystery Crystal Candy Boxes are back — and no two are exactly the same.

Each box is packed with a surprise selection of our handmade crystal candies, featuring a mix of sparkly crystals and crunchy clusters in different shapes, sizes, textures and colours. It’s the perfect way to experience the magic of Bak’d without knowing exactly what you’ll get.

Inside each box you can expect approximately 10–12 pieces of our signature crystal candy all chosen at random from our current creations.

Because this is a mystery box, flavours are not listed.. part of the fun is discovering them as you go. What we can promise though? Every piece is handmade, vegan, gluten-free and guaranteed delicious.

These boxes are also a great way to sample crystal candy if you're new and want to try a variety of textures and styles in one pack.

Shipping & Returns

We currently ship to Australia and New Zealand using Australia Post.

Tracking information is sent via email as soon as your order is packed and ready to be shipped.

Processing Time

Being a small team, it can take us 3-5 business days to have your order packed and shipped. As soon as we ship your order, you will receive an email with tracking info. We ship all parcels using Australia Post. For any queries on the status of your order, please reach out via the shop chat or email sarah@bakd.com.au.

Allergen Information

Our crystal candy is made using Agar Agar powder which is a gelatinous substance derived from red seaweed. This makes our delicious crystals vegan given that the agar agar contains no animal products.

Our crystals also contain granulated sugar as well as various colours and flavourings.

While the crystals are gluten free, we are not a GF registered kitchen. However, as we only prepare crystal candy in our warehouse, we are confident that there is no cross-contamination.

Some of our crystals may have sharp edges, so please proceed with caution if sharing with young children.

Founder's Note - From Sarah

I never planned to start a candy brand.. it kind of just happened.

Back in 2020, when the world had shut down, I was just a mum in my kitchen experimenting and trying to keep that creative spark alive. That’s when I discovered Japanese crystal candy. What immediately caught my attention was how beautiful it looked — these little sparkling pieces that almost looked like edible jewels. I just had to try making them for myself.

What started as a simple kitchen experiment slowly grew into something much bigger. Over time, more and more people discovered Bak’d and fell in love with crystal candy just like we had. Somewhere along the way, it stopped being just about candy and started becoming a community of people who share in the joy, the colour and the sparkle.

If you choose to purchase from Bak’d, please know that we are forever grateful. Never in my wildest dreams did I think a tiny kitchen project would grow into Australia’s biggest crystal candy brand — or more importantly, a beautiful community of people who have supported us from day one.

Bak’d has only come this far because of people like you who took a chance on a small family-run brand. People who believed in our candy and in us.

    Beautiful to look at

    I think once you find your flavours with these then you can order things you like. So far, quite a few I don't like much but the ones I do, I really do. Surprised the kids didn't get into them that much.

    Packages inside box split and spilled throughout box. Others all broken. And didn’t like the taste. Kids ate them

    I'm really sorry to hear that some of the packaging had broken open on arrival. We are in the process of sourcing new packaging for our candies.     Hi, we purchased a mystery box after seeing our favourite cake lady on insta Tigga Mac try it.

    We like the super crunchy cherry cola candy but unfortunately the crystal jelly is a weird texture for us and the flavours are not powerful enough. Beautiful though.

    We're so glad you enjoyed the super crunchy cherry cola candy, that's fantastic to hear! We completely understand that the crystal jelly texture and flavour intensity weren't quite right for you though. The jelly texture is definitely unique and we know it's not for everyone, and taste preferences are so personal when it comes to flavour strength.
