I ate them all in under two days...

I ordered these really hoping I would be disappointed. I have been looking at Bak'd for ages, but due to budgetary reasons, I didn't take the plunge. I thought this was the chance to try, and hope I didn't like them so I wouldn't be sad I can't get them often. But DAMN. I LOVE them. I took an extra shift this weekend so I can order more! I love supporting family business! So i had to try! It was exactly what I expected. They were very pretty i didn't want to eat them! The flavours were so nice. Crystal Candy FAQs

What is Crystal Candy Made out of?

Our crystal candy is made using Agar Agar powder which is a gelatinous substance derived from red seaweed. This makes our delicious crystals vegan given that the agar agar contains no animal products. Our crystals also contain granulated sugar as well as various colours and flavourings, some natural and some artificial.

How Long Do The Crystal Candies Last For?

Our candies can last for months but are best enjoyed within the first 4-6 weeks of receiving them. We recommend removing the candies from their plastic packaging on arrival and storing on a plate in a cool, dry place. The crystals will continue to crystallise and stay dry and crunchy. You can store them in an airtight container, however after about 4 weeks, the crystals will begin to sweat reducing their shelf life. Over time, the colours and flavours will fade.

Where Do You Ship To?

We are based in Melbourne, Australia so of course we ship our candies Australia wide. We also ship internationally to the following countries: New Zealand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. We use Australia Post as our shipping partner for both national and international orders.

How Long Does Shipping Take?

We have a processing time of 3-5 days before shipping due to the nature of the crystal candies and needing to ensure they are dry and crunchy before we can ship them. As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information.
